You have already met Cristina Costea from Romania… Romanians are known for their vivid imagination and intense spirituality, which they have expressed through their architecture, music, crafts, and traditions. Cristina is from that breed, intense but soft-spoken. Let’s hear her talk about her story in the Magic Diary…
Where is Romania? It is a small landlocked country in Europe and it its shares borders with Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, the Black Sea, Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova. It is a beautiful country full of lakes, mountains, and orchards. The River Danube, Europe’s second-longest river, rises in Germany and flows through Romania. Bucharest, the country’s capital, is the site of a gigantic, Communist-era government building.
You will feel an immediate connect to this place when you recall its famous gymnast Nadia Comaneci who was the first to achieve a perfect routine and get the first score of 10.00 in the history of gymnastics, during the Olympics in Montreal (1976). Another interesting fact about Romania is that the jet engine used by modern airplanes was invented by a Bucharest-born inventor called Henri Coanda.
Now you know enough about Romania, please do not forget to buy a copy of Pocketful of Dreams vol. II Europe and Africa and read her story.
Cristina Costea seeks perfection, at all times, out of her writing, and she works tirelessly towards this. Her mind is fuelled by creative imagination, found in every bit of scientific knowledge that provides her with inspiration and imaginative thinking. Labeling her as a writer is a lot at the moment since she finds this label of high value. With her work, she seeks to reach the kind of value she pursues as an aspiring writer.
In Beyond the Night Sky, Cristina postulates that we are all “starstuff” and that every atom in our body came from there, from the burning core of those magnificent lights above us.
